She was born in Istanbul in 1966. She got a degree from the Department of Mathematics and Astronomy from the Faculty of Science of Istanbul University. After having graduated, she started to work as a professional painter. She worked with Sabri Berkel and Hülya Düzenli from 1984 to1994. During that period she studied different mentalities and perspectives. She worked for private workshops for some time before setting up her own workshop. She has held a number of solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions. For the time being she is organizing variety of group and solo exhibitions and carrying on sales oriented projects under boutique gallery concepts.
